Conditions

Making a booking

At the moment you make a booking, you will be requested to make a down payment of approximately 25%-40% of the total amount. You can do so, through bank transfer, or through MoneyGram or WesternUnion.

No additional fee will be charged.

The remaining balance of your booking will be paid in cash upon arrival, as well the security deposit.

Security deposit

Depending on the apartment offered a cash damage deposit will be requested upon arrival and will be refunded in full after inspection of the undamaged apartment.
In case that the departure time is before 09:00 a.m. the security deposit will be refunded through bank transfer, assuming the client the costs of this transaction. In this case, the following information of the client will be required:
A.- Name
B.- City
C.- Country
D.- Account number or IBAN code
E.- BIC code (SWIFT)

Modifications

Only one change in the reservation will be allowed, after the booking has been confirmed, and cannot be made less than 25 days prior to arrival. An extra charge of € 25 euros will apply.


Changes are subject to availability

If you wish to extend your stay, no additional costs will be charged.
Amendments only possible upon availability of the apartment.
In case you wish to shorten your stay, HomeAmsterdam reserves the right to cancel the whole booking. Please note that the prepayment is not refundable.

Cancellations

In the event that the client wishes to cancel the reservation, HomeAmsterdam will not refund the received down payment.

Rates

Rates published on the site are estimated rates. Once confirmed, a price becomes definite.

Number of guests

Only the number of guests specified in the booking confirmation is allowed to enter the apartment.
Under any circumstance other people will be allowed in the apartment.
In the event of any infringement of the aforementioned obligations, HomeAmsterdam at its sole discretion will be entitled to request the client to leave the apartment, and the client shall have no right to claim any type of compensation.

Disturbance

Disturbance of any kind, loud music and parties are firmly forbidden.
Loud noises between 09:30 p.m. and 09:00 a.m. are also strictly prohibited.
Neighbors complaining or reporting to the police will result in immediate eviction and loss of prepaid rent and refundable damage deposit.

Smoking prohibition

In some of the apartments is not allowed to smoke. This prohibition must be respected at all times.

In case of any infringement of the aforementioned obligations, HomeAmsterdam at its sole discretion will be entitled to request the client to leave the apartment, and the client shall have no right to claim any type of compensation.

HomeAmsterdam reserves the right to cancel any reservation. In that case, the company will refund to the client all the money paid and it will not be liable for further claims by the client.

In event of Force Majeure, or causes beyond its control when the contracted apartment cannot be occupied, HomeAmsterdam will try to offer the client a similar accommodation to the one previously booked. If the client does not accept the alternative, the cancellation of the reservation can be requested, and the down payment will be refund.

HomeAmsterdam, nor the owner of the apartment shall be liable for the loss of damage of personal values from the guests, nor for any direct or indirect damages that may arise as a consequence of the use by the client of the apartment.
